ACCESSIBILITY

PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

Page1 prides itself on making art accessible to everyone. We aim to eliminate any barriers and want to make our programming and services as accessible and enjoyable as possible.

PERSONAL ASSISTANTS AND SUPPORT PERSONS

Personal Assistants and Support Persons are welcome to accompany any patron with access needs. At no time will a person with access needs be prevented from having a Personal Assistant or Support Person with them while in the building. We consider a support person to be an individual chosen, or hired, to provide services or assistance with communication, mobility, personal care, medical needs, or access to good or services.

For ticketed events, Personal Assistants and Support Persons accompanying a person with access needs will be admitted at no cost. If booking your tickets in advance, please indicate that this extra seat will be required.

SERVICE ANIMALS

Accredited service animals are always welcome on our premises. Guide dogs or other service animals, including service animals in training, are allowed to accompany patrons who require them. If you are planning on bringing a service animal to a performance, please advise our box office staff when you purchase your tickets so that an appropriate seat can saved for you.

If you are a bringing a service animal, we recommend that you review any audience advisories about special effects that may affect your service animal during the production (i.e. loud noise, lighting effects, other animals, etc.). This information may not be known at the time of booking, but can be confirmed by our Box Office staff a few days prior to the first performance.

PAY WHAT YOU CAN

PWYC Tickets are generally only available in-person at our box office, and we recommend getting here early for more popular shows as there is only a limited number of these tickets set aside for each performance. If arriving earlier, before a show presents a barrier you can also email info@pg1-theatre.com and we’ll hold up to 2 Pay What You Can tickets for you that you can purchase when you arrive to see the show.

COMMUNICATION AND FEEDBACK

If you have comments or suggestions for us, please let us know. We welcome your feedback and your ideas about how we can make Page1 more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
